Sample Client Work

When a business becomes my client, I consider much more than what a letterhead or logo is going to look like. I do everything in my power to make that
business successful. From catalogs and packaging, delivery trucks, retail environments, and ad design, I can create an image perfectly targeted to the right audience.
Since opening my agency, I have gained experience with financial institutions, catering companies, restaurants, manufacturers, service businesses, architects,
grocery stores, universities, garden centers, craftsmen, performers, cable companies, and publishers.
To reflect a client's unique message, my work varies in style from fanciful and fun to sophisticated and simple.
Here are just a few samples of my work:

CLIENT: Jiffy Mix

Jiffy

Jiffy Mix wanted to tell the story of their family owned business with a book.
I used their iconic box design as the cover with some clever text on
preparation and use on the spine.

CLIENT: Kerrytown Market & Shops

Each month I design the calendar of events along with posters and a web posting.

The design of the calendar changes periodically to keep the look fresh and new,
while maintaining the fun and event driven message of the marketplace.

I also design ads for stores within the market

CLIENT: The Produce Station

The Produce Station offers high end, unique merchandise you won't find anywhere else in the area.
I wanted to reflect this with a new logo design, and retro graphics. As the client, and their merchandise
has changed through the years, I update their image to match.

CLIENT: Ann Arbor Observer

The Guest Guide is a coffee table book that has a two year shelf life in hotel rooms in the Ann Arbor area. For each issue, I prepare the layouts, take photographs, and design the look of this upscale hard cover book.

This kiosk was designed as part of the Observer's "Arborweb" site graphics. It was created, along with several other 3D graphics to enhance their web site and to facilitate navigation. The kiosk is clickable in four areas to lead you to different areas of the site.

To see more work produced for the Ann Arbor Observer, visit the Illustrations and Prints for Sale sections of this site. I have done many magazine covers and illustrations for them over the years.

Several of my clients are from outside the Ann Arbor area. This client is based in Washington DC.
She needed a web design that reflected her wide range of design styles from traditional to modern.

CLIENT: Artist

copperworld

Photography can sometimes be costly for clients. For the most part, I do my own photography to save money for the client.
Even difficult lighting and unique subjects can be photographed. In this case, I shot two photos: one for the candles and one for the rocks.
I then combined the two photos in photoshop to give the best exposure for both. This client is in the U.P.
